ResFig vs. Honors living vs. dorms?

Is there a better choice between these three? Say if I didn’t get into an honors dorm, should I apply for ResFig instead? Is Honors the best overall, and do the price of housing differ from each other?

honors dorms and regular dorms cost the same and resfigs are only $200 more. preference can depend on major. for example, i’m in engineering and all of my classes are up north near the honors dorms so I’m always up there and so I always eat at Kinsolving. but if you’re in business, you’ll probably want to live in the regular dorms down south since most of your classes are down there.
Room-wise, honors dorms (2 of the 3) and a few regular dorms have room-sinks whereas resfigs don’t, but resfigs and honors dorms have bigger, better beds.
social-wise, if you live in a resfig, you’ll have to attend a get-together once a week but it could be fun. my friends in resfigs know most of the people that live in their hall so it’s the most social. the honors dorms are obviously the most studious and quiet

The most expensive dorms are Duren and San Jac

I’d recommend the honors dorms. E-mail housing and make your case. Worked for me.
After honors, the smaller residence halls such as Prather, Roberts, Brackenridge and Moore-hill.

This is based on my own experiences and the experiences of my friends, seeing who transfers to/from where.

Is the resfig dorm still Whitis?

yes, still whitis
