What is the most common residence hall for spring admits? I saw La Plata on my accepted students tour and I really liked the high-rise and how everything was set up. What are the chances of spring admits being placed in the Elicott community?

Are you in any of the special programs? Honors = Denton, Gemstone = Elicott, Scholars = Cambridge community…

Spring Admits? For that, I don’t know.

No special programs, just regular spring admit freshman.

As a spring admit, it’s possible for you to be placed anywhere on campus. Some students living in on-campus housing during the fall semester may decide to move elsewhere on the campus (like the suites and apartments on south campus) or into off-campus housing (like South Campus Commons or Courtyards). This usually makes more rooms available on north campus, so your chances of living in the Ellicott community may be good. For example, at the beginning of the fall semester, La Plata only has one floor of freshmen. Right now, there’re freshmen on almost all floors of the building because the sophomores who occupied those rooms during the fall may have decided to move elsewhere as a way of securing housing for their junior year.
