I was hoping someone could help me clarify something regarding gaining state residency in Washington so that the instate tuition would apply. On this page, [Establishing a Bona Fide Domicil](Residency Requirements (Non-affidavit) - Office of the University Registrar), for the establishing legal ties do they mean that all of those guidelines have to be met or only one/some of them?

They mean all that would apply to you. Live in Wa. for 12 consecutive mo., get driver’s license, register to vote, independence on tax returns, etc…

If some are N/A (ex: don’t own car), then, of course, that guideline wouldn’t apply.

you would need to hold a job in WA for 12 months and pay taxes.
