<p>On the freshman orientation website it says that all students except those in engineering, the residential college, and lsa honors must complete the writing placement test; however, all the residential college 1st year seminars have SWC writing assessment as an advisory pre requisite. So does anyone know if residential college freshman have to take the writing placement test or not?</p>
<p>You don’t; don’t worry about it! You pick your FYW seminar based on availabilities; they make a couple spaces for each seminar for each orientation group.</p>
