We are going to Emory for Family Weekend and are looking for someplace delicious to take my college son on Friday evening. Saturday night we are trying a noted steakhouse. DH and son went to and enjoyed the Iberian Pig during moving in weekend. We like Community BBQ (informal and delicious BBQ) but would love a new idea.

What kind of food, seiclan? And next time you want bbq, try Fox’s. Its great!

Is Fox’s BBQ better than Community BBQ? I LOVE Community BBQ!!! My son is really a meat and potatoes kid but he does like pork too. He’s not into fish at all. The kid is not a huge fan of Asian food either (although its my favorite…Thai, Japanese, Chinese…I like it all). I am thinking BBQ for Friday night. For brunches we like Murphy’s and the Flying Biscuit.

Unfortunately I can’t answer that, seiclan, as I’ve not been to Community BBQ.

If you like thai, there is a place near Emory That I like (though its not as good as it used to be) called Thai Chili.

For breakfast, try Thumbs up Diner. There are several around town. They dont take credit cards (unless things have changed). Very reasonable prices and great huge omelets and lots of other stuff.

My daughter just took me to this place in Decatur called “The Iberian Pig”. It was really good!

Yes, my DH and son like the Iberian Pig too. We went back to Community BBQ, YUM!
