Visiting SLU with my junior son in a couple of weeks. Based on my experience visiting a couple of years ago with my 2022 son, I think it will be a great fit. Looking for a restaurant in the area of campus that is a non-chain, has great food, and captures the vibe of St. Louis. We’ll be at Pappy’s for lunch that day so a non-bbq place would be good. I’ve been to St. Louis a few times and I think it’s a great town. This is his first visit and I want him to have a great experience visiting the university and city. Thanks!
City Foundry food hall, the Fountain on Locust, Scottish Arms, Urban Chestnut Midtown (limited menu, great biergarten). Or venture to the Hill for great Italian, gelato (Anthonino’s, Zia’s).
