Results of an economics major?

<p>All over CC, I’ve seen claims about econ majors being incredibly versatile (even being competitive for all finance major jobs). Is this true? What sorts of job titles/industries/location are characteristic of an economics major?</p>

<p>Economics Major from Ivies/MIT are versatile because of the school that those students attended, and not because of the major.</p>

<p>^^ what he said. The quality schools that do not have a business program have economics. Students interested in business end up majoring in economics. If you don’t go to one of these schools then the Econ major is almost useless.</p>
