<p>Hope thats good to start with. Ok, the basic reason I wrote this thread was for you guys to comment on the resume and cover letter I wrote. I have never written one before so please help me! Now you people might be wondering why is a 17 year old high school guy writing resume and cover letters when he should be studying by now. Well, my school has a group called Nixor Corporate. Well, don’t look for the meaning for “Nixor”, its just my college’s name. This is a brief idea of what Nixor Corporate is:</p>
<p>The program closely mirrors the interaction of corporate entities and the roles and responsibilities of executives hired to implement the stated objectives. Students are hired as Chief Executive Officers, Chief Financial Officers and Chief Operating Officers of several entities (click here for a description and scope of each entity) after an intensive screening process which requires a resume, cover letter and interviews with the Board of Directors. <p>I wanted to apply in two corporate entities:</p>
<p>Nixor IT
Nixor Restoration (new entity not on website)</p>
<p>Nixor IT, as its name suggests is related to IT. Basically their job is to fulfill the IT requirements of the school and earn some money by doing IT jobs and the money goes for charity to Nixor NGOs.</p>
<p>Nixor Restoration is a new entity. Its job is to repair a 1980s jeep so that it may be used by our sport teams for trips to the matches. As I wanted to become a mechatronical engineer I was really attracted to this entity.</p>
<p>I require to submit a resume and a cover letter to each letter (for the position of Chief Executive Officer) and basically in the cover letter tell them why would they want me.</p>
<p>I wrote a cover letter for Nixor IT but don’t know what to write for Nixor Restoration. </p>
