Can anyone give me an idea on the format for a resume that would be used during college admission interviews? Is it formatted similar to a job resume? Thanks.

Look up Curric Vitae online and that should be the format

A curric vitae format seems more geared to a college graduate.

If I recall correctly, D didn’t really have a formal resume for her interviews, she basically had a list of all her vital information, including AP courses taken, favorite or interesting courses, ECs, and other highlights from her Common App. A resume isn’t a bad idea, but it’s hardly required. The idea is to give the interviewer some starting places to talk about. Remember, the interview is a two-way street, they’re selling you as much as you are selling them.

It should be formatted similar to a work resume – basically you want to put on your academic status/achievements, extracurricular/leadership activities, work achievements/activities and anything else you feel is appropriate (ex. extensive travel, meaningful summer programs etc.) If you google something like “sample resume for students applying to college” you will get plenty of samples.
Thank you!
