I’m going out for one of the most competitive scholarships at a certain school, and it requires a resume, an interview, and a minimum 30 ACT score.

My ACT is a 29 currently, but I’m taking the test again in February.

My resume is not very interesting. I have a few service projects listed, student council participation, work experience, and choirs and extra-curricular activities. I’m currently volunteering at a science learning center for kids, and have worked only 14 hours there. I’m wondering how many volunteer hours would look impressive on a resume?

Also, if anyone has any interview tips, I’d love to hear them!

Thank you.
