<p>How important is my resume? Is this the most important part of the interview process?</p>
<p>If you apply through school or online or however they get interviews for their applicants, then yes. Sure, if the person looking at your resume knows you and thinks well of you, it could help (mainly if you are on the fence), but in the end, it’s purely about your resume in an objective sense.</p>
<p>Once you get your interview though, your skills there are all that matter.</p>
<p>Your resume, in most cases, is what will get you an interview, along with the cover letter and whatever supporting materials you may be asked to send. After an interview or going forward to another interview, it could be your resume that puts you above others.</p>
<p>So yes, it’s important :)</p>
