Retake Chem 630?

<p>I’m applying to a bunch of big schools - MIT, Carnegie Mellon, Cornell, and others. My other SAT scores are strong, strong GPA, Eagle scout, IB Diploma etc.</p>

<p>HOWEVER, I got a 630 on the Chemistry SAT II and I have one day left to decide whether or not to retake. 630 isn’t all that great, but it won’t keep me out of the top schools, right? Another thing - I don’t think I could do all that better if I took it again. Maybe 50 points, but a big maybe.</p>

<p>Thoughts?</p>

<p>Do you have any other SAT II’s. It could keep you out of some of the top schools because they usually prefer 700+. What are you planning on majoring in. I would retake it if I were you. Good Luck :)</p>
