You don’t get to retake it to get to a ceremony. It is like PSAT - one and done.

You can retake it if higher scores are needed to get into a program.

The deadline for John Hopkins is June.
BTW, which is better to keep or discard this 7th-grade SAT scores? CB will clean this record after 8th grade by default.

So what did you take the test for?

Duke usually has two dates and you are allowed to take only once.

2) SAT experience
3) qualification for Summer Camp in high school

I cannot recall the exact figures, but attaining a certain threshold allows student to enroll in higher level CTY courses, so I would consult the CTY page and then decide. I didn’t think it was ‘one and done’. I wouldn’t care about grand recognition ceremony but I do think the rigor of coursework allowed should be enough of an incentive to retake to attain needed level.

I think it’s something like 680 to take all the math/science courses thru high school. And yes, you can retake for it.
