retake SAT and ACT?

<p>I took both the SAT and ACT last December 2012 and my scores are:</p>

<p>SAT 2180 (660 CR, 770M, 750 W, 10 Essay)
ACT 33 (32E, 35M, 34R, 32S, 10 Essay)</p>

<p>Should I retake them? My friends are telling me that my scores are way too low for the schools I am applying to (Berkeley, UCLA, USC, HYPS).</p>

<p>You have very impressive scores, but it wouldn’t hurt to try to get them higher to give you more of an edge in your schools of interest.</p>
