Retake SAT if score will be lower but superscore higher?

Consider this scenario (and assume that it’s all fact):
I’m bad at CR but good at W and M. If I took an SAT and my CR (unusually) was higher than both W and M (which were both lower than usual) does it make sense to retake the SAT if there is a 50% chance the SAT score at that sitting will go down but superscore will go up (so CR will go down but M and W up)?

~Generally…what would you say? If it makes a difference my top schools are northwestern, cornell, upenn, Umich, georgetown

Thanks!!

You mean, the SAT score at that sitting will go down but the superscore will go up?

As long as your CR doesn’t crash and you’re pretty confident your M/W will go up, I’d say retake it.

yeah. i meant that lol.

thanks
