for selective engineering schools like GATech? June SAT score is 1490 (790 Math/700 Reading), ACT 34. Old SAT practice test results were higher, so there is a chance to get it to 1510-1530 with preparation, but that would just put in on the same level as the current ACT. Would it be a waste of time? Also plan to take SAT Math II, need to decide which test to take in October -subject or retake SAT. Thank you!

I just asked basically the same question except I got a 1480 and 34 on ACT. I think it makes my ACT look weak or a fluke. I still don’t think I scored a 710 on Math. No way…will get score verification. Have you thought about doing that? Or do you think that score is accurate?
probably accurate although it’s a first not 100% math result but 790 is close. Never thought of a high score looking like a fluke. good luck!
