Last October, I took the SAT (my first and only time so far) and got a 800 math, 800 writing, but 660 CR
.Just yesterday, I called in collegeboard and found out I got a 5 on the AP Language and Composition.

I’ve been thinking of retaking the SAT because of the Critical Reading score (hopefully to a 740+), but I’m swamped over the summer (international research, summer school, college essay, volunteer, etc).

I’m hoping to apply to top universities - not HYPSM, but some Ivies and similar caliber schools (Pomona, Northwestern, Berkeley, Johns Hopkins, etc).

Is it worth it to retake the SAT just to improve my CR score or will my 5 on the AP Language and Composition test kind of make up for that?
