So, I looked at my scores for the May SATII in US History and I got a 760. The thing is, I know I could do much better. I was really underprepared for the test as I had laryngitis for a week and a half before the test and I was still sick on the day of the exam. I took APUSH this year with a very difficult teacher and I managed to keep an +A all year long and I was scoring very well on practice AP exams. Is this score considered good enough, or should I retake the exam in June? Just for reference I am looking at UC’s, USC, Pepperdine and Stanford (as a one in a million reach school). Thanks!
No. It will not appreciably improve your application, and you are better served using the time to craft well-written essays than prepping for the exam.
