Retake SSAT?

I know this question has probably been answered a billion times already, but I think that scenarios can range pretty extensively, and I think that warrants this simple question. I received an 80 overall on the SSAT. Not terrible, but not really what I was hoping, especially on the reading (no idea what happened there). However, how much weight is put into legacies, URMs, athletes, etc? Also, will taking the test again in such a short period of time really change my scores? I did have some serious nerves at first, so maybe a second time around would change things.

It depends on:

1) how does 80% compare to the school’s average score

2) what the rest of your profile looks like: grades, ECs, geography, nationality, race, recs, essays, donor potential

3) do u need a lot of FA

Thanks, I’ll consider all of that.
