Retake the SAT?

My daughter’s latest SAT scores are 700 (reading), 800, 800.
Her GPA is 3.9 unweighted, 4.1 weighted.
She wonders if she should retake the SAT,
and how much improvement would be needed to make a significant difference with the top schools.

Her composite score would be 2300.
That’s high enough for ANY and ALL top schools (yes, even Harvard and Stanford).

So, instead of “wasting” time on the SATs again, she would focus on bringing up her other areas. Her GPA is pretty high, but not high enough for those top schools. Also, it would help her greatly if she spends more time studying for the APs and those SAT2s.

Forget the SATs! A 2400 won’t even make a difference! Really! Besides, the chances of she getting OVER 2300 is pretty slim. Therefore, ask her to allocate her resources (time)!

agreed^…

She could just take the reading section…my friend slept through the other two (intentionally) and got into duke. He also got his third 800 he wanted…
