Retake the SAT?

<p>Okay, so I’m aiming for some top schools, but unfortunately, I’ve gotten one C and three Bs in my high school career. Now, I have a 2340, but I’m thinking a 2400 ought to raise my chances of getting into top schools considerably. </p>

<p>Should I do it? Should I retake for the 2400?</p>

you’re smart, clearly, but you didn’t get the grades</p>

<p>it will depend on what schools you’re looking at of course, but
really 2340 is so good people read it as 2400</p>
