retake?

which tests should i take and when? i took the sat2 in history sophmore year and i scored well (680) but i wasnt taking ap w.h. and i figure i can do better if i take the american history sat because i am taking the ap class…my counselor told me not to take american history, just math I and biology since i want to go into premed…do you think i should take the american history one or just dont bother?
my second question is this. I am taking the sat in march and may, should i also give the old one a try and take it in january?
thanks for the imput

bump bump…

plz guys i really need some feedack

If you think you could do better in history, then go for it - I find it a little odd that your counselor would say not to take it again considering most premed schools still would like to see great scores on all SAT subject tests, even if it is US History. 680 is a good score, but I suggest you take it again to remain competitive in some of the tough premed programs. Good Luck!

I would take the SAT 2 history test after you take the AP test (so early May) you should be able to take the bio and math youre counselor wants but you can take three in one sitting so just take history also. I took the US history SAT 2 last year after AP tests and all that prep and AP study helped i got a 790, you could probably do the same or better good luck.

thanks i think thats what im gonna do…take it in june after the ap…im also taking ap bio so i think i will be fine…
