<p>hi…im a newbie here…i just wanna know…for the Jan test…i kinda screwed cos i got a high fever on the day itself…1290 only…damn sad…wanna retake the new SAT1…but this 1290 a bit too low…will it affect my admission to colleges…how many times do u all retake??</p>
<p>i retook the old test once and took the new test also. the only reason that i took the new test is that i wanted to be able to apply to any college, since some collges require the new SAT. and as to whether to retake yourself, it really depends on where you want to go. you should research your schools’ SAT averages and see where your scores fall. if they are admittedly a bit low for that school, then i would definitely retake. you want to show colleges your best work. i would buy that collegeboard review book and take the practice tests in that. that really helps more than anything for me.</p>

<p>our year’s sat doen’t matter much… scores willl be skewed all over the place. from 2000 to 2400.</p>
