Retaking a Class at a Different School

One of my classes for my Senior year has to be either Entrepreneurship or Social Media and Communications (which I’m not entirely sure what that is). I already took an Intro to Entrepreneurship class last year in an online school, but I didn’t feel like I got much out of it and am wanting to retake it this year at my new school (which isn’t online). As of right now, the only thing really leaning me towards Social Media is that I’ll earn credit for it. Entrepreneurship seems much more interesting to me and would align my schedule more with the other students in my grade, but I wouldn’t receive credit for it since I already took a similar course to it last year. I’m also not taking any sports this year for medical reasons so I’d be earning the same amount of credit as would the majority of my grade if I took Entrepreneurship. Which class do you think I should take?

@Cordless You are talking about High School classes, right? You are applying to Berkeley, right? I think it will help people who can give you an advise here, to know what your intended major at Berkeley is…

If you are a HS student and the course is not an a-g course (which is sounds like it is not) for the UC’s, it will make no difference if you take a similar course.

If you are a UCB student, then I would check with your major advisor before taking a course that may not fulfill that specific requirement.
