Hi guys, I’m wondering what you think about the following problem…

I made a blooper on the easiest problem on the national highest level physics exam last month, and recieved a B. Normally, I would expect at least an A.
My teacher has stressed in his recc that I’m the best phys student he has ever had (blah blah), so it might seem strange to the admission officers that I only recieved a B on the exam. Would they take into consideration the fact that I studied for this exam completely on my own (no teacher or anything, because my school doesn’t have qualified ppl), and therefore “accept” this B?

If not, I still have an opportunity to retake the test in December (but I kinda have my hands full with everything from SATs to another exam, plus full time employment)

If I retake the SAT Subject Test in Physics and recieve an 800, would that compensate enough? (I’m also planning on getting an 800 in Math Level II and … uh, 600? in US History, the only history test offered in Nov).

Thanks.
