Retaking the SAT

I am an international student from underrepresented east African country. I took the sat twice already: 1970 and then 2110. Should i take the sat again. I think i could have gotten higher scores on the 2nd sat (our supervisor only gave us 2 breaks) and there were loud noises. Anyways, i moved to us this month and had some questions.

  1. Is it bad if i take the sat for a third time( i can move my scores by atleast 100 points)
  2. Can i send novemeber sat scores to (U of Miami (Early), Stanford and most schools?)
  3. I have a 3.98 GPA in the hardest school in my country, have excellent recommendations( didnt see them but the teachers loved me) and am taking physics and Math level 2, any tips and chance me on the schools above.
    Thank you
  1. No, it’s fine to take it a third (or even fourth) time as long as the opportunity costs aren’t too high.
  2. You can send them but they might not consider them–check each school’s policies, of course, but in many cases they’ll say “no guarantees.”
  3. There’s a separate forum for “What are my Chances?” questions. You’ll have better luck with this question over there.
