Retaking years later :(

Okay little background. Took SAT when I was in 8th grade back in 2001 and received a 1060. I was salutatorian in my class out of 14 with a 3.81 HS GPA. I attended a local junior college for a month before I dropped my classes as I had a parent in the hospital as well as welcomed the birth of my daughter. So now that I have a little more solid of a foundation, I am looking to go back to school at the local public university. I have talked to the admissions office and since I would be a freshman with no credits I could apply as a"new" freshman. I need a 1300 total SAT score with 600 on both Math and CR. How difficult will this be able to pull off? I am currently reviewing different websites doing some practice but I still feel extremely underprepared. Is it just nerves or should I be able to pull out 600 on each?

TIA :)

Definitely man. With some practice 600+ would be no problem. Reading the newspaper and reviewing simple algebra would definitely get you that score.

Math: missing the last page, and some harder questions still gives 600+
Reading: Read NYT, WSJ and do some practice sections and that would set you up.

Good LUck!

1300 wouldn’t be that hard if you dedicated a lot of time to it.

I could get a 1300 with half time.

Thanks guys. I’m excited about trying to get back into school. I know I can do it just wanted some words of confidence! Thanks very much!
