Retesting on the ACT?

I know that it’s encouraged to take the ACT all three times, but I feel like my first score (a composite 32 with 36Eng, 32Read, 28Math, 32Sci) was pretty strong and sufficient to use for the schools I’m looking at. Will it look better to colleges if I submit one high-ish score or multiple mixed scores?

If u think this score represents your ability, then stick with it

^ Agreed.
Standardized test only goes so far in your admission process, besides its not even a measure of your intelligence, just something colleges use to identify a plain filed - which in turn becomes more beneficial to individuals with great test taking skills.
The only issue here would be if you are applying to a very competitive school and you are going to be a math or engineering major, then it would make sense to keep repeating these test, otherwise its not worth it. Refocus that time on other things like your essay, EC’s etc.
Best of luck to you.

Some schools use an applicant’s GPA, standardized test scores, or combination thereof to determine how much merit aid will be offered. Standardized test scores might be used for more than just admissions. Check on this at the colleges where you’ll be applying.
