I was wondering if it is okay to use retied teachers for recommendation letters required by scholarships? If yes, would it make me at a disadvantage or would it be as equal as any other teacher recommendation letter?
The fact that a teacher retired after teaching you has nothing to do with the quality of the recommendation. It does nothing to diminish the work you did in his/her class.
