Retrieval tool and hyphenated names

<p>Anyone having difficulty with the tool as a result of a hyphenated last name? I can’t use the tool. I filed weeks ago. The check has cleared the bank, but the tool still pulls up nothing. I’ve had trouble with the IRS linking to SS in the past due to my hyphenated last name, or at least that’s the answer we keep getting from the IRS. Has anyone else has trouble with this? Did you get it fixed?</p>

<p>D1 filed when I did. No trouble using the tool on the student section of the FAFSA.</p>

<p>Did you try it with a space instead of the hyphen (Last Name) or with the name with no hyphen and no space (LastName)?</p>
