Returning student with a ged gpa?

<p>I’m a 30 year old first time college student with a GED, I’m enrolled at a local community college and doing well. I study hard, and maintain a good GPA while holding down a full time job and doing 15+ credits.
I’m looking to transfer to a local university (SDSU) using the transfer program at my current school. So…
My question is: Are my abysmal high school grades I got from being stupid kid who had no concept of reality 13 years ago going to affect my required GPA for entering SDSU?</p>

<p>I was the kid who did no homework and aced every test, and failed almost every class for it. =/</p>
