Revelle Discovery Hall or Sixth Res Hall?

Hey guys,

I am an incoming freshman and was assigned to a triple in Revelle’s Discovery hall as overflow from Sixth. I found someone willing to switch with me from a triple in a good Sixth res hall but I’m very conflicted as to whether I want to switch or not. Imo the only real reason Discovery Hall has an advantage is because its close to Galbraith Hall and a few of my classes. The Sixth Res department also told me that Discovery Hall is primarily filled with Sixth students too. I really don’t have any idea which to pick, and I can probably go either way at this point. Please help me make a decision.

There are towel warmers in Discovery, which I thought was pretty great, but for all I know the Sixth dorms have towel warmers too. If they don’t though, that’s one thing. Towel warmers are pretty nice during the Winter, in my opinion…

If you’d rather live in a place where it’s easier to meet other people though, you should probably go with Sixth. In my experience, it’s pretty hard to meet people in the Fleets, even if you’re all in the same building, while at the Sixth residence halls, according to someone I know, you go out and suddenly woah that’s a lot of people to meet.

If you really don’t have an opinion either way, you might as well save yourself the walking distance and time. Unless you want more exercise.
