Reviewing material vs Taking practice tests

<p>With a limited amount of time, what is the best way of preparing for any ap exam. How long should I spend reviewing the material compared to taking actual practice tests. Would it be a horrible idea to review the material for a majority of my time, and spend a fractional amount of time taking actual practice tests. Is there a happy medium between the two. Please educate me :)</p>
