<p>Too bad we can’t post pics - I’d love to see some examples of everyone’s re-do jobs.</p>
<p>I too have been trying to decide what to do with my cabinets. They are probably only about 15 years old, but the previous owners who installed them were heavy, heavy smokers and they have never looked good since we have been here. All my efforts to clean them has probably made them worse to the point now where some of them have the slight varnish wearing off and some areas are gummy (hate that!) . </p>
<p>BUT I have TONS of cabinets and can’t imagine the expense of replacing - I don’t even know what they are currently made out of - repainting would be a huge job, but would have to be so much more cost-effective. </p>
<p>Anyone know of a website with some photos of redone cabinets - especially those done by not-a-professional???</p>
