Revoking admission - a situation

<p>A friend of mine recently received her acceptance (out-of-state) to UNC-Chapel Hill. The letter mentions in a “by-the-way” sort of manner that the school expects her to keep her grades up and to graduate on time.</p>

<p>She is also taking a correspondence speech class from another university. It’s required for graduation, and due to slow grading from them, she’s worried that it won’t get done in time for the deadline for graduation. She certainly will appeal first to the other university and to her high school to try to fix the problem and speed things up, but if all else fails, how understanding would you expect UNC to be?</p>

<p>I’m pretty sure that really won’t be a problem if your friend talks to the right people and explains her situation, and I’m pretty sure UNC will be understanding accommodating about this, especially if your friend really wants to go to UNC.</p>

<p>^^ agreed. It’s out of her control for the most part, so they can’t really penalize her for getting caught in such a trivial situation.</p>
