Ha ha, the funny thing about getting into Harvard is that you find out whether you got in on April fool’s day … i have no idea why i just mentioned that … Hopefully i’ll get in though !!

Ya I mean most top schools are around 20%…so 1 in every 5. I don’t think it’s that hard to get into these school, but i’ll see on March 10th I guess.

@Mpicz, yes 20% is a LOT easier to get into than the 9.4% that Harvard boasts, but there are some catches:

-Any random idiot from my current school applies to 3-4 Ivies for the heck of it
-Harvard’s Applicant:Capacity ratio is a lot larger than Andover’s forcing them to reject more
-Most people applying to top BS are already qualified. College (until now) has been a traditional norm, BS has not. People who apply to BS are for the most part self selected

On a different note the same holds true for the SAT. People think that X score on SSAT will later in life = X score on SAT, or X percentile or w.e. Remember that SSAT is TOP X percent of the TOP 5-10% of the population, SAT is top x percent of the top 70% of the population
