well, looking at past rhp threads, the people who get merit schols and admission get notified early feb so that they can plan to come in for their interviews in march-ish. if you don’t get a scholarship interview, then you get notified in like march, i think. but they make it so that the latest is march not april, i think.

It also depends on where you live too.
Let’s just hang out here until the first one of us gets the letter. (: Keep the thread alive! And hopefully other RHP applicants will see it and join too.
So, what’s everyone doing this weekend?

and i hope that i made the 2100 cut off!
lol.
my Princeton Review scores, i think, were skewed cuz princeton review IMHO is harder than the SAT.

i’m soo stoked for my resultss. how long did oyu have to wait for your scores, rosinyangster?

It says when the scores will come out online on the CollegeBoard website. Your scores will be online by December 23, about 8 in the morning. (:
Good luck!

It is 2050 on the RHP website. I checked just now. (: Look under FAQ. Here is the direct quote:

“USC requires a standardized writing exam. We will accept either the SAT or the ACT (please note that you must also submit your ACT writing section score). A minimum combined SAT I score of 2050 or composite ACT score of 32 is required.”

I have a suggestion for RHP applicants who are also applying to a major that requires a separate application, such as SCA. As soon as you find out that your RHP application is complete, telephone the admissions office of your intended major department and make sure that 1.) your application for your major is complete and 2.) the department knows that your overall RHP/USC Admissions application is complete too. The second point is especially important since, if the department thinks (incorrectly) that you haven’t completed your application to USC, they might not review your application to your major. If this turns out to be a problem, RHP will straighten it out for you if you call them and let them know.

Thanks for the advice, Nester.
I’m applying to Marshall for Business Admin, and as far as I can see…there are no supplementary requirements. I hope I’m not wrong…
psymonsays511, I hope we can all see each other at Orientation too! But alas…

Do you guys know how big the applicant pool is this year? Because no matter what, they’re only going to choose around 30…so it’s, what shall I say…SLIGHTLY SCARY???
And I’m worried, because they didn’t receive the letter of recommendation from my supervisor yet, and it’s been weeks. Rawr, this type of thing always happens to me.

The tension is especially high right now, because seniors at school are starting to receive early application results. So all I can think of is…what about me…what about me…Hahaha. Anyways, just had to let that pent-up frustration out.

nooo.
i’m all gung-ho for not going at this point.
i’m not positive either way. and i have a feeling that i could maybe probably get admission somewhere “better” & closer. esp cuz i live in boston.
i’m thinking about transferring after the first year too. idk.
