<p>So I got accepted under the Early Decision plan, and my mom already paid the deposit for the class of 2013. When would I get my Rice email address?</p>

<p>As soon as you get a student ID, you can go to <a href=“https://apply.rice.edu/index.php?module=apply&page=register[/url]”>https://apply.rice.edu/index.php?module=apply&page=register&lt;/a&gt; and that will set up your NetID, which will be your first initials plus a number @ rice. For example <a href=“mailto:BS2@rice.edu”>BS2@rice.edu</a> if your name is Bob Smith. Then you can also create up to three aliases, like <a href=“mailto:BeefLover@rice.edu”>BeefLover@rice.edu</a>. You also get a <a href=“mailto:Bob.Smith@rice.edu”>Bob.Smith@rice.edu</a> that comes standard.</p>
