How is the engineering program at Rice University? Specifically, how is mechanical engineering?
It’s ABET accredited. Rice is a great school of course. So will be fine.

Rice is fine with Mechanical Eng since it is ABET accredited, but it is not particular popular for ENG major. I would rather go to UT or TAMU based on the price tag. Good Luck.
Rice is GREAT at engineering. It’s what it built its reputation on. They’ve been teaching mechanical engineering since 1912. More than a third of their enrollment is in the school of engineering
