Rice joining other elite schools offering free online courses

<p>So I don’t fully understand. We can use the video lectures as a substitute of attending the class?</p>

<p>These will be non-credit, non-transferable courses. They issue certificates of completion but the content can’t be used to get a degree.</p>

<p>Hutch teaching a free chemistry course online is wonderful.</p>
