did everyone all receive an interview opportunity?
It’s unlikely. The spots usually fill up and not everyone gets one. They get 25,000-30,000 applicants and they simply can’t interview everyone.
When my daughter applied she requested an interview but did not get one. She was accepted anyway. Not getting an interview in no way suggests Rice does not think you’re a good candidate.
Any intel on when Rice will release RD decisions?
they don’t officially say when until 2-3 days before they release. Going off their track record, it’ll likely be before ivy day (march 28) so maybe march 22?
In the portal, was there always a tab “My Account” with Admissions ID and Financial aid ID?

Rice “doesn’t admit by major” but for most colleges it’s inherently more competitive to get into engineering or cs as your major because those fields tend to require higher gpas and test scores
