I am accepted for bioengineering at both. I like berkeley’s location with nearby SF, beaches, and Tahoe. But I like Rice in general more. I think Berkeley is more well renowned, especially in engineering. But I feel like a lot of students aren’t happy there. Tuition is ~60k at Rice compared to 30kat UCB. Please help I’m absolutely torn.
Go to rice if you want a job in that area. Berkeley would be more applicable to metropolitan areas. Just going off yout undergrad which doesnt mean much after your 1st job
Rice is not worth double Berkeley, even if you are rich.
