Rice vs Dartmouth vs Vanderbilt

Having trouble deciding where to attend for engineering, would appreciate any advice. Assume net cost is not the deciding factor.

Rice:
Like: residential colleges, research opportunities, “Unconventional Wisdom”, not elitist, high EWB participation, small school, no fraternities
Dislike: no contacts in the area

Vanderbilt:
Like: Close to friends/extended family, music scene in Nashville
Dislike: “old money” vibe, fraternities

Dartmouth:
Like: liberal arts education/integrated engineering curriculum, academic flexibility/D-Plan (focus on a few classes at a time), #1 for study abroad, small school, outdoorsy
Dislike: fraternities, snow, no contacts in the area

Prestige/name-recognition holds absolutely zero sway with me except as much as it correlates to actual quality of academics and student life. I also got in to UIC and UIUC but prefer these schools because of their smaller size and significantly higher financial aid offered.

If you dislike fraternities, Vandy and Dartmouth are very fratty. https://www.usnews.com/best-colleges/rankings/most-frats The residential college vibe at Rice is very different. It is 85 and sunny in Houston right now, 65 in Nashville, and who knows how cold in NH. There is never any snow in Houston…
