<p>Your teacher’s doing you a disservice. Any serious comp sci class should have a reasonable amount of code reading. Especially AP… since that’s what a majority of the AP test is like.</p>

<p>You have it easy. All we do in my Comp Sci class is copy all of the codes that the teacher types in. Then we all fail the tests. Rinse and repeat. There might be two people in the class that knows what they are doing. I’m not even considering taking the AP test at this point. </p>
<p>I would complain to your teacher pronto, and with as many classmates as possible. An organized movement will definitely get some results, unless the teacher fails to think about the consequences of his actions.</p>
