GPA: 3.95
SAT 2: Biology M-710
I’ll probably take 3 more; math IC, Chem and US History next year, and probably two or three more during the senior year.
AP: Euro-3 : (

I HAVENT TAKEN THE SAT YET SO CAN ANYONE GIVE ME AN IDEA OF WHAT A GOOD SCORE WOULD BE? I ALSO TAKE AP EURO THIS YEAR AND IM GOING TO TAKE AP US NEXT YEAR, AND PROBABLY 6 MORE APS DURING THE SENIOR YEAR

If you keep posting this thread over and over all this year, this means you are addicted to this website. This will not only bring your grades down (happened to me last year as a junior) but also bring your self-esteem down (happened to me). This will bring your test scores down (happened to me), and you will have a lousy year (happened to me). So, all I am saying is BACK OFF THIS WEBSITE! Don’t come back until you have complete stats and post your stats ONLY ONCE to get some insights into what colleges you should apply. Then, focus on your application and you will be okay. Good luck. By the way, yes, you are on the right track except the laundry list of ECs. If I were you, I will just focus on getting good grades, studying for the SATs, participating in ECs I am PASSIONATE about (colleges like to see consistency), taking most rigorous courses, and researching on colleges.

thx ill stay away lol. i actually am passionate about music so ill be sure to show that in my essays. ill also exclude superfluous stuff too. i actually tried to make it more concise this time but i guess it has to be more terse. yea ill focus on SAT most. it is my top priority.

since you’re taking the new SAT you shouldn’t take mathIc for sat2’s because that’s already in the SAT1s. you should take mathIIc.

o really? well i wont know anything for math2c this year. i have to take the next year. i should just do 1c i think. colleges ask for either i believe. but thx for ur advice!

wait do ivy leagues even care which math sat 2 u took? do they prefer 2c over 1c? i dont think i can take 2c by the time i apply.

of course they prefer 2c over 1c; it’s a harder exam. but I don’t think you should spend your time learning a math course just so that yuo can write an advanced SAT exam, since your time is running out. I’d concentrate more on writing essays and such. As long as you pull a high mark in math 1c, I think you should be fine =)

thx a lot. ill try to score high on the math 1c.

hes only going into junior year

o so ur saying that i do have time to prepare for math 2c? the thing is, im not taking the course required for that test yet until senior year. so i dont think im ready.

Let the thread die.
