Rigor of UIUC ECE courses as compared to that of MIT,Stanford,Berkeley,CMU

<p>I am an international student admitted to UIUC ECE(undergraduate) during ED.I know wanted to know about rigor of ECE courses as compared to MIT, Stanford, CMU, Berkeley (as these universities also have great ECE)?
Does a UIUC degree help in getting jobs to companies like Microsoft,Intel etc.?</p>

<p>You can get a job at those companies without a degree from any of the schools you have mentioned. I was at such companies and I did not even have a US college degree</p>

<p>UIUC is ranked pretty high when it comes to CS, so it’s safe to say that it is in the same league as the universities you have mentioned.</p>
