Rigorous Curriculum

I know that for many selective colleges that they recommend students taking the most rigorous cirriculm available to them. At my school, they offer a plethora of electives to choose from. So far, i am taking the most advanced courses for my Big 5, but im not too sure if my electives are meeting up to my standards for my Big 5 so thats where you guys come in. So far i have taken the following courses:

Public Speaking I
Creative Crafts( to fullfill the art requirement)
Gourmet Foods
Health (requirement)

As of now, i am taking Anatomy and Physiology, and Business Ownership and Marketing since they are related to my possible careers. Next year i’m planning on taking AP Statistics, Driver’s Ed, SAT Critical Reading and Writing(every other day for the first semester when im not taking driver’s ed), and Creative Writing I. I am considering taking rather changing from Creative Writing to Financial Literarcy. Are my electives rigorous enough or should i make the switch?

Really, if they are 4.0 weighted non-core classes, they all look practically the same in terms of rigor. Changing from Creative Writing to Financial Literacy will not make a difference. Colleges have no way of knowing hte relative difficulty and course load of these classes; all they can see that it is weighted 4.0 and an elective.
