Rigorous senior schedule?

Due to scheduling conflicts/my need to fulfill graduation requirements, I can only take 4 APs my senior year; most seniors will be taking 5-6 APs (we have 6 classes per day). Now I can choose to either take AP Art History online, or self-study another AP (probably Psych or Econ).

(Background: I’ve already taken 8 AP classes, and my cumulative GPA is 4.5, SAT 2370)

My question: should I take AP Art History online so that I have 5 AP classes like the rest of my classmates, or could I just self-study another AP? I don’t really want to pay to take it online, because I’m relatively sure I could do well self-studying Psych or Econ.

I can’t answer it for you except to give you an example of what happened with my son his senior year. He had a conflict with AP Spanish and AP Physics. He chose Physics and it left him with only 3 years of a language. I put a brief note on the application. He did get accepted but he was a very strong candidate. I don’t think that the on course would make or break your application
