Quite interesting watching coverage in Asia. One Chinese station had gymnastics live. I saw full US floor and beam, one parallel bar competitor and every Chinese gymnast doing every routine. Couldnāt follow any commentary as my Chinese is minimal. The commentators talk over the floor exercise music. I missed not hearing the music that accompanied the routines, but verbal commentary was non-stop and music not audible at all.
The English language station I found covered synchronized diving and equestrian, no gymnastics at all. The swimming coverage on the English language station is good. Heats, semis, finals. Commentary is good; interesting to hear commentators other than US based. No extra hype for US, actually very balanced all around.

@lotsofquests I see tons of headphones on babies at music festivals I go to. They already are all the rage. Might be a good gift to get for the next baby shower.
