I am sad, Bob Hoskins was one of my favorites.
He was perfect in Mrs Henderson presents & what was that movie he was in with Cher & Winona Ryder?

That movie was “Mermaids.” He was an outstanding actor. Of course he’ll be forever remembered for “Who Framed Roger Rabbit?” - just perfect.

3

‘The Long Good Friday’ and ‘Mona Lisa.’ Two great performances. For a Brit, he seemed so American.

He was unbelievable in the Long Good Friday…but in Roger Rabbit,he pulled off a tour de force, how he did that with a straight face I’ll never know, every cliche from every noir movie ever made:)
